1st century B.C. ruins in Turkey

At 7500 feet in elevation, Mt. Nemrut in Turkey, huge headless statues are thought to be a 1st century B.C. royal burial site of King Antiochus of Commagene.  It is a 2 hour drive to the nearest decent hotel.  For early morning photography, my photo tour group left our hotel at 3am, parked below the peak at about 5am, and walked twenty minutes or so to the ancient site to photograph the stars above the ruins, do some light painting on the fallen heads (from earthquakes), and then photograph the dawn sky as a backdrop.  It was a stunning sight -- worth getting up at such an uncivilized hour.  I used a 14mm wide angle lens for this composition, making the foreground disproportionately large compared to the background.  My settings were 1/5, f/20, and 250 ISO.
