You can texture map a photograph onto a three dimensional object in Photoshop. This means you can actually wrap one of your photos onto a sphere, a cone, a cube, etc. Then you can exit the 3D workspace, flatten the layers, and use that object as a component with other photos. In this image, I wrapped a mirrored fractal (a graphic abstraction that I previously mirrored in Photoshop) onto a sphere, and then applied Flood. I then pasted a costumed jester from carnival in Venice on top of the sphere, and finally I added smoke from burning incenses.
