This is the view at sunset of Monument Valley from the top of Hunt's Mesa. It is not easy to get to, though. You either have to hike or drive, and there are no roads. The four-wheel drive truck my photo tour group took to get there was 25 years old, and when everyone saw where we were going to drive, no one thought it was going to be physical possible. The track was exceptionally steep and very rocky with huge ruts (on the way down the next morning, we walked over certain parts because it was too scary to ride in the truck). My Navajo guides had done this before, obviously, and in about an hour we arrived at this breathtaking vista. My settings were 1/50, f/16, and 200 ISO with a 24-105mm lens set to 55mm. I used a tripod, daylight white balance, and this is an HDR image.
