One of the ways to use AI image making with Midjourney is to blend your photographs together. You can blend up to five images. The pictures don’t have to be similar or related, and their combination doesn’t even have to make sense. For example, you could combine a model with a macro shot of the inside of a flower with a building and then with a horse. I know this sounds crazy, but the blending of disparate photographs often produces the most artistic results. The software interprets what you’ve uploaded in unique and often surprising ways. For this image, I combined a model with a brass mask plus an abstraction of oil floating on water. Midjourney gives you four variations. You may like all of them or none of them; either way, you can request four more variations, and so on. My next AI course begins Nov. 23.
