I love dogs and I love humor, and it's great fun to mix them together. This is a famous phone booth in London because of its location. You can include 3 booths in a single shot plus Big Ben, and even though no one uses them any more to make calls, it's a wonderful nostalgic and historic composition. Using Photoshop, I added the Maltese puppy in a shopping bag as if someone had a momentary lapse of memory and forget their beloved friend. The puppy was originally photographed against a black background, and that made dealing with its fine hair relatively easy. I used the 'lighten' blend mode in the layers palette to eliminate the black background.
