This is Upper Antelope Canyon in Arizona at night. I took a series of shots here with my American Southwest photo tour group in 2015. We were the only ones in the canyon, and it was a magical experience. The contoured rock walls were illuminated by shining a small, LED light on the ground. The light bounced off the sand and filled the upper portions of the canyon with soft and diffused illumination. I used a 14mm wide angle lens for the shot, and it was important that the shutter not exceed 30 seconds because I didn't want star stairs in the sky. My settings -- after making a few tests -- were 30 seconds, f/8, and 3200 ISO. If I were to do this again, I would use a different kind of light source. The LED light I used had some kind of flourescent-type bulb that was devoid of the normal color spectrum. The walls of the canyon appear monochromatically yellow instead of exhibitng the natural reds, oranges, and pinks that our eyes see during the day, and unfortunately this is not correctable in post-processing.
