I photographed this baby grizzly bear in the 80's. I was shooting with Kodak Ektachrome 64 at the time. In low light environments like the forest floor, even when shooting at the largest lens aperture available, the shutter speed wasn't nearly as fast as it needed to be for sharp pictures of wildlife. I don't remember if my shutter was 1/30 or 1/60 for this shot (it was one of these), but handholding a long lens with speeds this slow meant there was no way I could take a sharp picture. I did the best I could, but the odds were against a high quality picture. The softness of this image bothered me for decades whenever I would look at it, and to be honest, I never thought it could be fixed. Just this morning, I tried Topaz Sharpen AI on it and I was astonished. The plugin did a brilliant job in saving the picture. I've never shown this image before because I was so disappointed in the lack of sharpness. If you haven't tried this Topaz filter yet, you owe it to yourself. I took this picture with the Mamiya RB 67 medium format camera.
