This is part of my classic car series. I photograph beautiful classic cars at Concourse d'Elegance car shows throughout the U.S., and then I replace the backgrounds with either a complimentary landscape or a scene from Europe. This car is a 1934 Avion Voisin Type C27 Grand Sport, and the background is Moydrum Castle in Ireland. The car was already on grass, and I used the pen tool in Photoshop to make the precise selection. To make the ivy on the castle ruins appear to be seen through the windshield, I had to make a separate selection of that area. I then cloned the vegetation within the selection and muted it, giving the impression that the glass diminished the exposure a bit.
