On the last morning in Cinque Terre with my second photo tour group in Italy, I took the chance that there would be enough lights on in the village of Vernazza to get a twilight look at sunrise in which the colors of the houses would contrast beautifully with, hopefully, a great sky. So, we got up early and took the train from our hotel to the village and then climbed a trail to a classic vantage point. We lucked out and had wonderful sunrise colors, and there were, indeed, a few lights on in Vernazza to illuminate the architecture against the dawn light. This is a 3-frame HDR composite with two f/stop increments between exposures. My aperture was f/5.0 (because depth of field at this distance was irrelevant -- meaning everything would be in focus at any lens aperture), and the ISO was 400. I used a tripod and shot with a 24-105mm lens.

Jim - Hi Gary, Yes, I will. It's very popular -- for obvious reasons. I'll put it on my website this weekend.
