This is the amazing fantasy-like environment of the Garden by the Bay in Singapore. The photography during the day is good, but at night it's simply dazzling. This place was made for wide angle photography, and for this picture I used a 14mm lens to exaggerate the perspective and use the artistic lines of the structures to my advantage. There are so many wonderful angles and compositions here that you could spend all night photographing it. My settings were 2.5 seconds, f/6.3, and 200 ISO. I could have used a smaller lens aperture, but the 14mm lens has such great depth of field, and as you can see here even with the fairly large lens aperture, everything is sharp.
