This is the second drone image I'm very happy with from Iceland. It is Godafoss Waterfall in the north of the country, and I've been here a number of times but never with this much snow. The sun had just risen above the horizon (at 12:04pm) and was beautifully illuminating mist on the left side of the falls giving it an orange glow. I'm still a novice pilot and I'm learning a lot about drones -- like how extreme cold saps battery life and how the wind is seriously problematic. I almost lost the drone at another location where the battery charge was depleted because the drone was fighting the wind and it was forced to land just 20 feet from waves crashing on rocks. The settings for this shot were 1/120, f/2.8, and 100 ISO, and the full frame digital format equivalent focal length was 22mm. I missed out on getting lower-level shots because the wind kicked up and made me very nervous, so I hit the RTH button (return to home) and it returned and landed within 3 feet of where it took off.
