The last time I did street photography of homeless people was in, believe it or not, 1969. It's just not the kind of photography I like to do. I only want to capture beauty. But I saw this scene on my recent Abandoned in Georgia photo tour, and the juxtaposition of the "Have hope" graffiti in green written above the oblivious homeless man was too powerful to pass up. I had photographed this underpass in Atlanta before so I didn't even have my Canon with me. I used my iPhone 13 to take a pano of the scene to show the context. There were some people close to me on the left side of the frame, and I used the new Generative fill command in the Photoshop beta version to eliminate them. The software did a brilliant job.
