This is a remarkable staircase I found in Bali. It is located in a building that showcases the most amazing wood carving I've ever seen, and directly in front of the stairs was a large glass case displaying a particularly stunning piece. It was perhaps five feet from the first stair, and the problem was that there was very little room to place a tripod. I had to use a 14mm lens to get the whole structure in the shot, and it was so tight that it was a challenge to get my head between the camera and the glass case to look through the viewfinder! I managed, obviously, and took an HDR image with three frames. The light and dark tones weren't even, and I had to do a lot of post-processing to make the exposure look good.

Rob - Quite beautiful Jim! As a newbie to Photoshop I can only guess and wonder at the "lot of post-processing" that was done :). Hope we learn some of that in the workshop!
