I conducted a Photoshop seminar this past weekend in my home, and in demonstrating various techniques I always come up with a few images that I hadn't thought of previously. In showing how to use Photoshop, ideas occur to me on the spot and this is one of them. I had photographed the bald eagle along the Mississippi River in Illinois, but of course the complementary background and beautiful reflection weren't part of the original capture. I selected the eagle using the quick selection tool and then copied it to the clipboard with Edit > copy. I then pasted it into the new background of gray clouds using Edit > paste. Finally I added a reflection by using the Photoshop plug-in Flood (made by flamingpear.com). One Flood is installed, it is found here: Filter > flamingpear > Flood.
