Mannequins are great subjects to shoot for components. You can do an endless variety of unique and visually dramatic images using them in conjunction with other images. Whenever I see a very cool mannequin in a store window or in a department store, I photograph it from various angles and the find a use for it sometime later. I usually don't know how I'll use it until I browse images in my photo library to come up with an idea.
In this case, I used a photo of a circuit board, graphic lines I created in Photoshop and an abstract generated by a program that creates fractals.
