Snub-nosed monkeys live in the mountains in central China. There is a national park there in which rangers leave bananas at a few feeding stations to bring the wild primates within easy viewing. This protected species feels quite comfortable with people now, but photography is still not easy because they are in constant motion. I took this shot with 100-400mm zoom plus a 1.4x teleconverter giving me 560mm of focal length. The camera settings were 1/500, f/11, and 3200 ISO. I have a photographic collection of blue animals. Most of the species are of birds, insects, amphibians and reptiles. It's rare for mammals to have prominent blue features like these monkeys do.
