This is a dilapidated one-room schoolhouse from the 19th century in the Palouse area of Washington State. The original sky was solid blue -- i.e. pretty boring -- so I replaced it with dynamic clouds using the new Sky Replacement feature in the latest version of Photoshop. The software is most accurate when the sky to be replaced is solid blue or solid white, although it works quite well with other scenarios as well. I used a 24-105mm for both the schoolhouse and the clouds, and my settings for the former were 1/60, f/16, and 500 ISO. Whenever I see dynamic clouds in the sky, I photograph them with various focal length lenses and add those shots to my cloud folder. A great sky make a huge difference in pictures of landscapes, wildlife, architecture, and even people.
