I photographed this mural the first day I was in Havana -- 5 days ago -- but I felt it needed something. Photographing another person's artwork doesn't a great photo make. So, I looked for the perfect old car in the same lighting as the mural to create a composite. I found that car today, and using the pen tool in Photoshop I separated it from it's original background and combined it with the mural. To maintain the look of realism, I didn't cut out the tires. It's just too hard (i.e. impossible) to do that and make it look perfect. Therefore, I carried with the car the cobblestone pavement. By doing that, I also included the shadows.
