This is the remarkable dome inside the Parliament Building in Budapest, Hungary. I captured this from a tripod with a 14mm ultra wide angle lens. I took this in 2010 before I was doing vertical panorama images of interiors -- too bad because a pano would have been perfect here. The windows didn't have much detail, so I let the middle ones blow out. Had there been beautiful stained glass designs, I would have done HDR to hold detail in both the highlights and the shadows. My settings were 2 seconds, f/11, and 200 ISO. With symmetrical architecture, I usually position myself dead center on the architectural design so the image doesn't look skewed in any way.
