I conduct a photo tour to France to photograph the white horses of the Camargue -- a marshy region in southern France. On two or three mornings, we put two stallions together and the combative action always produces dramatic and compelling images. As much as I like the color contrast of a blue sky background with the white horses, white on white still remains my favorite color scheme in nature. There was a distant shoreline visible in the original shot, and I removed it in Photoshop with the clone tool because I felt it was distracting. Depth of field wasn't an issue here, so I used a super fast shutter to guarantee that even the flying drops of water were tack sharp. My settings were 1/5000, f/4.0, 640 ISO, and I used a 70-200mm lens. My next horse tour is April, 2022.

Ian cocking - Hi Jim, cracking image as always. I assume with so much activity in a shot like this, you also you multiple frame shooting to ensure the best capture?
