This is Register Square in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, at twilight. I used a 18mm focal length on a 16-36mm wide angle lens to exaggerate the perspective and make the beautiful doors in the foreground disproportionately large compared to the background. For almost all of my photography in the blue hour, I choose daylight white balance to dramatize the cobalt blue color in the sky in contrast with the warmer artificial lights. The settings were 1.6 seconds, f/14, and 320 ISO, and I used a tripod. The point light sources became stars due to the use of a wide angle lens along with a small lens aperture. The only thing I did in post-processing was remove a couple of signs using generative fill in Photoshop.
