I took this shot during my drone photo tour last year in Iceland. What's amazing about shooting from an elevated perspective is that from the ground, there may not be a good shot at all. But from as little as 50 or 100 feet in altitude, everything changes. Beautiful graphics designs and patterns of color are suddenly revealed, and all of these amazing photographs that were impossible to take just a few years ago (unless you had a helicopter at your disposal) are now at your finger tips. With the software in the controller, you can change the shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and the composition, and with the push of a button you can switch from photo taking to video. My settings for this shot were 1/800, f/2.8, and 200 ISO, and it was taken with the equivalent of a 22mm lens.
