I've been to the Taj Mahal many times, but I've only seen it shrouded in fog once. It is beautiful from any angle, and on this particular morning I'd arranged a model to pose for my photo tour group across the river where there were no tourists at all -- something challenging to do in India. At first, the fog was so dense we couldn't even see the magnificent 17th century Mughal architecture, but soon the fog slowly lifted and I was able to get this shot. In the past, dense fog adversely affected meter readings. However, now with our mirrorless cameras and the ability to see the exposure in the viewfinder, perfect exposures are virtually guaranteed. My settings for this image were 1/80, f/11, and 1000 ISO, and I used a 24mm focal length.
