5-frame composite

This is a composite consisting of 5 images: the clouds, the mountains in Patagonia, the model, the snowy owl, and the foreground rocks. In addition, I used the Photoshop plugin, Flood 2, to create the rough water as well as, in a separate action, the reflection of the model showing much smaller waves. I photographed the young model, who was 15 at the time, standing on a box to make her look even taller than she really was. A very creative and talented makeup artist, Loalynda Bird, did the make up, the hair, the head piece, the bracelet, and the attire. I photographed the model with film in the 90's, but all of the other components were taken within there last five years as digital images. To select the components so perfectly, I used the pen tool in Photoshop. This is the most precise way to make a selection.
