In the 'blue city' of Chefchaouen in Morocco, I was walking the streets with my photo tour group looking for pictures when I passed an open doorway and saw this scene. I quickly grabbed a few shots with my 24-105mm lens before the cat moved. It was sitting in the perfect place for a beautiful composition. The illumination in the room was quite dark, and with the Canon 5D Mark III, I didn't want to use an ISO higher than 4000. That made the shutter 1/40th of a second which is dangerously slow with a focal length of 105mm. I took several shots wide open at f/4.0, holding my breath and squeezing the shutter slowly. I think the image stabilization enabled me to get a sharp picture.
