One of the coolest things I've photographed in Kenya is a family of cheetahs -- a mother and almost-adult cubs -- on top of a Land Rover in sunset light. The mother had previously been injured, and she was tranquilized by park rangers to be treated by a veterinarian. She became accustomed to people and felt comfortable around them, so when she was released back to the wild and had cubs, she taught her offspring that people were OK. Instead of using termite mounds for an elevated view from which to spot prey, they now use safari vehicles. The day after I took this picture, the family of cheetahs climbed on top of my vehicle. Needless to say, it was a thrill. I'll post one of those pictures tomorrow.

Ray Chilton - Jim, so glad you explained that. I thought you were risking your life. Even though she had been trained to trust people, it was still very brave!
Great, memorable shot!
