Just before dark two days ago my wife and I were driving down a country road near our house when we spotted a very tiny kitten. It was sitting on the white line at the edge of the pavement on a curve. After 20 minutes of coaxing, Dia finally was able to grab the kitty and we brought it home. I don't think it would have survived the night. It would have either been run over by a car or eaten by a predator. It was very hungry and thirsty, and it immediately bonded with us. When I stream a movie, the kitty (we've named her Nopi) sleeps right next to my neck, and at night she sleeps up against Dia. Here she's sleeping inside Dia's sweatshirt against her body. We posted a notice for anyone whose lost a kitten, and with no response, she's apparently a new addition to our family. My other cat, Ming, is slowly getting used to having another feline in the house. I used a 100-400mm telephoto for the shot, and the settings were 1/125, f/11, and 10,000 ISO. I used window light for the exposure.
