This is another composite I did with the model I photographed in Moscow. The interior is a beautiful doorway in the Kremlin. Had I arranged to actually photograph this young lady in the Kremlin, it would have cost thousands of dollars in fees. Using Photoshop, I can put images together that originate in my imagination. My thinking process starts out as -- Wouldn't it be great if . . . And then I make it happen digitally. I selected the model with Topaz Remask 5, and then pasted her into the background with Edit > paste. I sized her appropriately using the transform tool: Edit > transform > scale. Finally, I made a drop shadow using the burn tool on 70% opacity. Shadows are crucial to make composites look believable because everything naturally casts a shadow.
