This is an abandoned house in Georgia, and I replaced the bland sky with a digitally created tornado. The lightning is real. I made the tornado proscribing its shape with the lasso tool. I then combined two shots of storm clouds and applied Edit > transform > scale to compress the image into a long, narrow proportion. This left me with streaks of color. That suggested the tornado funnel was spinning, which they do. I then cloned the compressed clouds into the funnel shape I'd proscribed and feathered the edge. I used the burn tool to create the debris cloud at ground level, and using the 'lighten' blend mode I added the lightning which I'd captured in Arizona. Lightning often accommpanies tornadoes. Finally, I again used the burn tool to darken the foreground grass to add to the dramatic mood.
