This is the remarkable interior of the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. I took the shot from the walkway on the 17th floor with a 15mm Canon fisheye lens. My settings were 1/40, f/3.2, and 2000 ISO. I hand held the camera because I had to lean out over a railing, and it just wasn't feasible to position a tripod. I chose tungsten white balance specifically because that would affect the color of daylight entering through skylights at the top of the building. I wanted that intense blue color, and that resulted from my white balance choice. Notice the extensive depth of field even with an aperture of f/3.2. This is typical of ultra wide angle lenses like the fisheye. The first night of my Abandoned in Georgia photo tour (June, 2022) is spent at this hotel so my group can get remarkable architectural shots like this one. For me, this hotel has the most photogenic and visually arresting lobby in the world.

Bob Vestal - What an amazing image! Of course, all of your posts are terrific, Jim, but this one is very unique. Thank you for sharing the image and the tip about tungsten white balance.
