A wide range of photographic subjects have always interested me, but my favorite is wildlife. That's why I've always been frustrated that I've not been able to photograph the most impressive animals that ever lived -- the dinosaurs. I've photographed chameleons and other reptiles and imagined them 100 times larger, and I've been lucky enough to photograph Komodo dragons in Indonesia, the largest lizards in the world. But they are only about 150 pounds and 10 feet long. No big deal with you consider a T-rex weighted up to 18,000 pounds and was 40 feet in length! So, I resort to using Photoshop with detailed models to recreate what I might have captured 80 million years ago. This is an ankylosaurus, 33 feet long, between 11,000 and 18,000 pounds, and even though it was a herbivore, I definitely wouldn't have used a wide angle lens for the shot! To make the dinosaur appear to be behind some of the trees, I selected those trees and then used Select > inverse. That selected everything except the trees, and then I was able to paste the image of the reptile from the clipboard into that portion of the picture with Edit > past special > paste into. I made the reflection the same way and then used, Edit > transform > flip vertical.
