This is a shot from lower Antelope Canyon near Page, Arizona. Because of the crowds today (about 2300 people go through the canyon per day in the summer), it's impossible to include the floor of the canyon in the composition. Your only option is to shoot upward as I did here. My first visit to the canyon in the 80's was amazing . . . I drove right up to the entrance and walked in. I was the only one there. You can still get beautiful pictures, but it's not like it was in the past. For this shot, I added the sky to show depth, interest, and to create complete depth of field. My settings were 1/6, f/22, and 200, and I used a 14mm wide angle lens. I used a tripod for this picture because I took it several years ago before the enormous crowds ruined everything.
