I photographed this red panda in a reserve in Chengdu, China. These animals are constantly in motion, and it's all you can do just to keep them in focus. When photographing wildlife like this, I use a center array of focus points -- either 9 or 15 -- and that insures me that most of the time the subject will be sharp. It's important, though, to keep the head of the animal in the center of the frame. You can't do an off-center composition when the focus points are centered in the viewfinder.
