This is a painterly version of a small shack surrounded by autumn colors I photographed in New Zealand. I used Topaz Simplify to abstract the image. The original image consisted of beautiful foliage, but I felt it need a splash of red. So, I used Topaz Mask AI to select the Japanese maple tree from elsewhere in New Zealand and I pasted it into the shot. When abstracting images to make them appear as paintings, the precision usually necessary for compositing isn't as crucial because the abstraction obliterates any imperfections in the selection. My settings were 1/80, f/16, and 500 ISO, and I took this with a 100-400mm telephoto set to 100mm.
