When I conduct a photo tour to Indonesia including Bali, I hire a large dance group to perform the very stylized and intriguing Kecak Fire Dance. It's great to have the entire group of dancers under my control because I can stop the performance at any time and photograph them without the movement. I took this shot after they had concluded the performance, and all 80 people posed perfectly for my tour participants. You can tell by the ISO that the light level was low: 1/250, f/8, and 5000 ISO. We had the ideal temple background; usually when tourists see this dance performed as a ticketed event, the Balinese dancers are surrounded by seated tourists -- not conducive to good photography.
