This is the Hassan II mosque in Casablanca, Morocco. The classic Moorish architecture is great to photograph, but with the addition of a human figure -- especially when the person is wearing a striking color -- the images become more engaging. At least to me. I added the model in Photoshop, placed a subtle shadow at her feet, and then I replaced the white sky with gray clouds from my sky folder. I used a 16-35mm wide angle lens for the picture of the mosque, and the settings were 1/400, f/16, and 1250 ISO. I purposely used a small aperture to insure complete depth of field.
