I am in Cuba now, leading another photography tour to this very photogenic country. Cuba is like a country frozen in time, and I love all the old 1950's cars especially with the super saturated colors the Cubans like to use. The streets here are almost surreal, so my mind immediately starts thinking about creating artistic composites to embellish what I see. The background of this image is a beautiful stand of colorful, colonial architecture that I mirrored. I then composited four cars all photographed from the same frontal angle with a telephoto lens. I used the quick selection tool in Photoshop to make the selections. When I made each selection, I included the pavement beneath the car so I didn't have to recreate the shadows under the tires. I used the same car on the far left and the far right except that I flipped one of them and changed its color in the hue/saturation dialog box.
