This stunning interior is the 13th century royal chapel in Paris, Sainte-Chapelle. To arrange a fashion shoot here would either be impossible or impossibly expensive. With Photoshop, of course, I could make it happen. I photographed the beautiful model on stairs, and this allowed the fabric of her dress to spread out and elongate suggesting she was exceptionally tall. Using the pen tool, I worked at 300% to make a precise selection around her. I then pasted that into the background, and with Edit > transform > scale is sized her correctly. The original color of the dress was pale yellow, so using the hue/saturation dialog box I tweaked that to match the environment. The settings for the background were 1/25, f/2.8, and 3200 ISO, and I used a 14mm lens. For the model, I shot with a 24-105mm lens.
