Here is another shot I took at 6am when the streets were devoid of people. This particular section of road in Gent, Belgium is especially crowded during most of the day because it offers the best view of the spectacular medieval skyline. During the day it's an impossible shot without people and lots of vehicles, but just after dawn it's not a problem at all. I used a 24-105mm lens set to 24mm, and my settings were 1/160, f/4.0, and 2500 ISO. I added the sky using Edit > sky replacement in Photoshop. Note the extensive depth of field even with the lens wide open. That's a function of wide angle lenses.
