Here is another drone shot from my tour to Iceland a few weeks ago. Glacial melt is aquamarine in color, and from the air it's particularly striking. The pattern of water running through mud flats also made a compelling contribution to the composition. The settings were 1/800, f/2.8, and 200 ISO. Note the large aperture was fine to use in this case because depth of field was irrelevant when there is no foreground, and at the same time f/2.8 enabled the ISO to be low. In post-processing, I added contrast, clarity, and vibrance. My next drone photography tour to Iceland will be in August, 2026.
