This is the first time I've posted a picture taken from my iPhone to a blog or to my website. I was in the Apple store yesterday looking at the new Imacs (very impressive), and in the display window this unique colorful perspective display was just begging to be photographed. I didn't have my Canon, so I thought I'd see what the iPhone would do. I have to say, I was amazed. In the relatively low light of the interior, I hand held (obviously) the iPhone and got complete depth of field when I was standing only two feet away from the immediate foreground. This looks like a wide angle lens, the colors are great even though the lighting was florescent, and it's sharp.
In terms of quality, iPhones don't compare with a Canon or Nikon dSLR in terms of resolution and noise, but still . . . you have to admit that this is an incredible time to be a photographer.
