I photographed these fishermen at Inle Lake in Myanmar. One of the lodges on the lake has an elevated walkway throughout the property, and this provided a unique and elevated angle from which to shoot. These fishermen are famous for rowing their boats with one of their legs wrapped around the shaft of the oar while they balance themselves on the other leg, a seemingly impossible thing to accomplish. Notice the effect of the diffused light. The color of the water is intensely blue, the musculature of the two men is brought out by the highlights and shadows, and the contrast is attractive as opposed to excessively harsh. Overcast conditions produce beautiful light for many kinds of subjects including people. My settings for this shot were 1/640, f/5.0, and 1250 ISO, and I used a 24-105mm lens set to 67mm.
