Old Car City in White, Georgia is an enormous collection of junker cars scattered throughout 32 acres of forest. The cars go back as far as the 1920's. For an additional fee, you can photograph at night and dramatize the rusting hulks with lighting painting. This is a 1938 Chrysler Imperial, and I used a single flashlight and a 13 second exposure at f/8 and 800 ISO. The bright light in the upper left quadrant of the image is a security light facing the camera. When light painting, it's important to keep the light moving so one particular area in the composition doesn't become overexposed. I had to do two test shots to make sure the lighting was exactly what I wanted and that the exposure was correct. I took this with a 24-105mm lens.
