Shooting from a low perspective is dynamic, powerful, and visually compelling. As you can see from the two very different images here, this idea can work with a wide variety of subject matter. Many times I find myself kneeling on the ground just to get two or three feet lower than a standing position, and the results are always worth the effort. The older you get, the harder it is to get back up (!), but looking up at a subject gives greater stature and importance to pretty much anything. Whether you are doing creative effects, wildlife, rock formations, models and fashion, macro work, and many other subjects, getting low is a way of seeing that you should make one of your creative techniques.
