You can create a silhouette out of any subject. If the subject has a particularly strong and attractive graphic shape, the silhouette will make a dramatic element against a colorful background such as this remarkable sunset sky. To make a silhouette, select the subject with one of the selection tools and then use Edit > fill. Choose black as the fill color, and that's all there is to it. The picture you see here is a combination of five images: three separate giraffe pictures plus the tree and the background sky with the tree line. The success of a silhouette depends entirely of the graphic design of the subject.
