Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone! To make this composite, I took a photo of the Santa's hat against a black background, and then I carefully selected it with the pen tool in Photoshop. Then copied that to the clipboard with Edit > copy and pasted it into the frog picture using Edit > paste. (This is a red eye tree frog that I photographed during my semi-annual frog and reptile workshop in St. Louis.) I used Edit > transform > scale to resize the hit to fit the frog. For the original picture of the frog, I used a Canon ring flash, 50mm macro lens, and a lens aperture of f/32 for complete depth of field.
