This is one of the great views in America and, in my opinion, on the planet. It is Monument Valley as seen from Hunt's Mesa. There is no road to the top, so the 25-year old truck that drove over rock shelfs and up death-defying inclines achieved the summit of the mesa only by some divine miracle! I took this with a 100mm focal length, and my settings were 1/80, f/4.5, and 400 ISO. In post-processing, I usually add vibrance and clarity to give my images a little more punch. Note I didn't need a small lens aperture for depth of field because the rock formations were relatively far away -- they were beyond 'optical infinity', or the point at which the lens is focused on the infinity mark. This elevated view is so spectacular it just holds your attention. It's almost too good to be true.
