I created this image about two years ago in which I composited the Moroccan model into the street scene I captured in Chefchaouen, Morocco. This beautiful place is also known as the ‘Blue City.” I borrowed the clothes from a friend of my local guide and selected the colors of the young woman’s attire specifically for visual impact. The dynamic cobalt blue environment in this image makes this my favorite picture from this photo tour. In the original composite, the model was looking directly at the camera. I liked that, but for this image I changed the direction of her gaze to the side. She had exceptionally beautiful eyes. I had taken several images of her, and I copied and pasted this expression from one of those other shots. I used a 17mm focal length for the street shot to exaggerate and elongate the perspective. My settings for the background picture were 1/20, f/11, and 200 ISO.
