There is amazing software available that can transform a collection of photos into a mosaic consisting of those photos. The program I’ve been using is Photomosaic, and I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. It’s only $29. I will be explaining how to use this software in the June, 2017 issue of my free monthly eMagazine, Photo Insights, but the steps are very simply and intuitive. For this shot, the background image is a bronze statue of a dragon I photographed on a bridge in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The folder that contained the various European images to be combined into the mosaic had 100 different shots. It is endlessly intriguing what the digital revolution has brought to photography. There seems to be no end to the creative potential. When the use of film was waning and I bought my first serious digital camera in 2005, I felt like I was dragged kicking and screaming this new reality. I loved film, but now when I look back on that era, I’d never go back. We all were so limited in what we could do.

Jim - Thank you, Sylvia. I am enroute right now to Patagonia to lead another photo tour. I have this information on my home computer. When I have a chance, I'll see if I can find the link. Otherwise, you'll have to wait until I get home on May 5. I'm sorry, but I just don't have this info with me.

Sylvia Rourke - Hi Jim,
Love it. Would you provide us with the Photomosaic link as I'm not able to find the $29. version online.
Many thanks
