There are two interesting things to note about this twilight shot of Mostar, Bosnia. First, the sky was overcast and yet the image still has that cobalt blue color indicative of photography at this time of evening. It is not necessary to have a clear sky to get this kind of color. Actually, it can even be raining, and at twilight the cobalt blue color will appear. Second, all of the detail you see in the foliage is a result of the fact that I used HDR. This is another 5-frame sequence with one f/stop increments, and the settings were f/5.6 at 500 ISO with a 24-105mm lens. The last several posts have been taken at twilight because this is the most beautiful time to photograph cities. Europe illuminates it's cities and towns artfully, and I take advantage of that as often as possible.
